, the republican ticket scheduled its first post convention trip to virginia. if you have any doubt that the commonwealth is a hot commodity this november, consider this. take a look at the seating arrangement for the democratic national convention. virginia has one of the coveted four seat sections compared with maryland and d.c., which are barely even in the building. can we say battleground? congressman, paul ryan is representing the republican ticket while the democrats hold their convention at a reallily just outside of cleveland today. ryan compared president obama to president jimmy carter and went off vice president joe biden for saying the country is better off now than it was four years ago. mitt romney is said to be spending this week preparing for the debate. his motorcade, that's it right there, hit a snag today. when it had to wait for a slow moving tractor to get out of the way along a dirt road. not a lot of space. republicans have lost a battle to keep the constitution party candidate off virginia's ballot. virgil would draw votes away from mitt romney. today, virgi
